Cairn Tech is the independent consultancy of Julie H. Cairn, bringing together more than twenty years of experience in enterprise software, product leadership, technical communication, and independent publishing.

Throughout my career, I've worked with organisations ranging from global technology companies to startups and growing businesses, helping teams turn complex ideas into practical, well-executed solutions. My experience spans enterprise SaaS platforms, connected products and IoT, Agile product delivery, technical documentation, digital transformation, and cross-functional product leadership.

Today, Cairn Tech combines that experience with modern AI-assisted product discovery and rapid prototyping to help clients explore ideas, validate concepts, and deliver meaningful results more efficiently.

The name Cairn Tech comes from the idea of a cairn—a simple, purposeful marker placed to guide others along their journey. Like many worthwhile journeys, my own career hasn't always followed a straight path.
